Richard Emberstone the new RnB soul sensation dropped by to have a chat with Dj Mr Jay about his new release the "Amazing Love" EP. Due to be released on independent label zum music in early April. Richard spoke about his influences in music as well as the thoughts behind his new material. Citing such heavyweights as Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin as inspirations, Richard who writes and produces all of his songs offers a smooth yet funky throwback to the old school soul and RnB heydays. In 2009 we will see this young talent rise amongst his industry peers and offer some real competition. His songs range from make up's to break up's and life experiences in between, whilst the musical arrangements flow from contemporary to classic Richard Emberstone manages to ensure all tastes are catered for. Whether you are grabbed by the funky yet pop title track "Amazing love" or seduced by the lead single "If you were a secret" his warm silky vocal tones will do enough to pull you in.
